Unusual Alaska SouvenirThis souvenir from the 1950s or 1960s is called a lucky glacier bug. It was sold at the Nugget Shop in Juneau, Alaska. You're supposed to wear it to ward off bad spirits. It comes in the original envelope complete with the silly glacier bug story. The "bug" has a tiny little brown face with eyes that pop out and legs that move. It's made of plastic.
